Hey y'all,
I'm still alive! Wheeeeee!
My life is a mess and I'm trying to work around it. Anyways! Have this little piece I made in Inktober (yeah don't wait for much more from that, it's pretty much the only thing I made)
Enjoy!
"But what did you do all summer long?!"
I animated the ass of a cow! 8D No srsly, that was a real job. Maybe I can upload that at some point. Oh, and I'm working on the cover for a novel! See, there are more things to come ;)
Just stay tuned ;)
See you all!
Hello everyone! This is a collection of every kind of (mostly) drawing stuff I do, let it be scribbles, illustrations or even little animations, littered with stories of college life ;)

BULLETPROOF VESTS! EXPLOSION! KATANAS! (sort of.) YAY!
Hello out there! :D
A while ago I had the urge to splash around with ink, especially with the weird and awesome effects you can do with that stuff (and any other color that's just liquid and opaque enough). Liters of ink, opaque white and 2389 tissues later, this pic was the result:
The katana-like daggers (shortswords??) are a little bit of a stretch for this character, as she usually would rather fight with guns or combat knifes, but standing in the aftermath of an explosion counts as an extreme situation and extreme situations require weird weapon choices. I learned that from action movies!
Unfortunately I used an A3 drawing block, and was really unmotivated bc scanning it would have to be in parts and be put together afterwards (and I hate our scanner. GAH)... So this picture molded around here for some month. ANYWAYS motivation knocked and was like "AY let's do this!" and I scanned the damn pic! Luckily it was way less complicated than expected, and I had the black n white version you can see above on my pc, finally! 8D
Now the next step is obviously COLORS!!
And while I still struggle with colors (as with apparently everything else) I really like the outcome of this one. I had a very weird orange version at first, and I'm really glad I just put it on the side for a few days and worked it around until this one below:
Yo.
So, what do YOU think?
Take care of yourselves! <3

It's Wu again
Hello again everyone! :D
Last time was full of stuff again. I went to Berlin to visit some friends, met a friend I only knew online for years the first time in real life and went to the Making Games Talents in Munich. It was all great fun! :D
>>Also, if you read this, dear person I met at the MGTs, I loved your drawings!! Please contact me, bc you were really cool and unfortunately I don't have any contact info of yours, and I'd really love to see more of your comic! :D <<
So, enough of this (who reads this anyway) and more for drawings!
It's Wu again, and I somehow managed to deal with my long time enemy "black ink" - I really really love how the outlines look, and I think I worked out the colors fine, too.
Her hand is what I love especially of this picture. But allover, this is one of my favorite pictures I drew of her 'till now :D
Of course I did a pencil drawing underneath the ink, and traced to a more ink-friendly paper. Have a look at this:
The pencil-version is more rough, and thou' I love the rough look of pencil, this is one of the very few moments I love the ink and color version more than the pencil picture.
What do you think? :D
Take care of yourselves! Eat more vegetables! No really, more and more people are ill here at the moment, so really, take care.
I love you! See you soon! :D

YAY, another experiment!
Yay, splatter splatter bang bang BOOM!
Or, what happens if you find a rough lineart on your pc and have too many PS-brushes and patterns you didn't try out. 8D
What else? I'm in panic and looking for an internship (maybe I'll link you my portfolio at some point) and my life is a mess of moving out, fighting paperwork, finding money to buy food and similar stuff. Gah, I'll be so glad that this will be over soon.
...I guess I don't have much to say today. Stay tuned. See you next time. I love you all!

What do you get if you multiply six by nine?
"Six by nine. Forty two."
"That's it. That's all there is."
"I always thought something was fundamentally wrong with the universe."
Never read "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"? ;) You missed something, go ahead and read it XD Or listen to it. Or watch at least the movie ;)
"SO WHY ARE YOU ANNOYING US WITH THAT CRAP?!"
Because I have 42 Followers now, which is more than I ever thought I would have, and kind of a perfect number ;D (but hey, I won't hit you if you want to be the 43rd... just go ahead ;D) In other words - THANK YOU! Again ;)
"YEAH AND DID YOU DREW SOME AWESOME HITCHHIKERS FANART AT LAST??"
Nope. Sorry for that. ^^°
But I will show you the last task (is that even the right word in that context?) I made for my illustration classes! YAY! The task was to illustrate "Five ways to end a relationship" (yes, my academics are that crude (in a cute way ;D)), aaaand... yeah... I basically did what I always did - comicstuff 8D
If you have issues with brute force or violence, you should maybe skip this picture XD
Have a nice day! :D

Something unusual...
... for as it is without any person on it.
This pic was made for my illustration class, because we should illustrate some word with "head" in it. But you know, (nearly) everyone drew heads for that task, and I draw heads all day and so I wanted to do a picture that clearly illustrates a word with "head" in it, but without any head shown on the picture itself.
Guess which word 8D
It's basically ink on drawing board, with a fake background of photoshop layers on it.
My prof liked it :'D
What do you think? ^^
Don't loose your head ;)

Very dark problems
Guess what about?
Yes - inking! 8D (no, I'm not writing about autum/winter depression here XD)
So there are several ways to ink something, and all of them look slightly or entirely different. And I'm struggling which way to go down with my comic, so....help? 8D
Manual ink at first. Rough vs. clean lines. Both look cool, both are time consuming; for the rough one it's hard to find a balance between dirty and dynamic, the clean one will tax my patience. 8D
Digital ink. I think I won't go down this route, cause it's time time saving and consuming at the same time. You can correct till it's perfect, but for me it's hard to get a right stroke in the first place, so I'm correcting 90% of the time...
...or I just let ink be ink and go for pencil only. In that case, I need a good scanner ;)
Well, well.

5000 CLICKS!!! and comic 'news' ;)
... and I have only boring stuff to tell you. But wow, 5000 hits on this blog. Thank you guys! :D
"Yeah you know, nothing is for free. GIVE US PICTURES."
Ya well... I don't really have some. No really. I have stuff to do. Studying, working... that kind of stuff, you know?
"We thought you're studying DESIGN! AINT THAT WITH PICTURES!"
Not .... yet???? Actually it's amazing how little we've done 'til now. The only subject which hits in with the power of a jumbo jet is Film/Animation, where we have to script, shoot and produce a commercial till the end of term. I mean, WHAT THE FUCK. THIS IS AMAZING.
Aaaand seems like a shitload of stress. YAY! Let's hope the rest of the subjects won't take too much space in the date book XD
But! Months ago I told you about that comic project I'm working on. I didn't forget that thing!
This is the status:
(don't try to zoom in, you can't read anything anyway ;D)
First rough storyboard of part one COMPLETE! 8D 'round 80 pages (4 pages per one sheet of paper), part 2 is on work and part 3 is written down and waiting.
Meet one of the minor characters, the amazing Miss Watson! 8D
Okay, before you start to shitstorm me with "YOU STOLE THAT FROM ELEMENTARY!!!111ONE", that's not her real name. And I didn't watch the series (yet). ;)
So! The only thing I have to do now is work over these pages again, complete the other 2 parts, work over them again, draw them, ink them, scan them, correct them, letter them...... I have to go, I have a film project to do. Bye!! :D

Annoyed and stressed but productive and alive
Hey out there!
It's been a while since my last post, but I'm still alive and drawing - even if some things are stressing the shit out of me.
Once, none of the scanners in this works at the moment, and I have no idea why not. Last time I just plugged the one in and could work with it, now I de-and reinstalled it a few times and it still won't work , and the other one dosen't work for no reason too.
Second, I just buyed a PC. A great one. It's strong, it's shiny, it's incredible fast, and it obviously had a broken graphic board. -___-
And third, next week I've got my second portfolio presentation/qualifying examination and I still have to work on that...
But well. Enough bitching now. What would be a blogpost without pictures?
This is a teaser pic from a comic project I'm currently working on (and which is part of my portfolio, too). It's raw, cause I don't have the hardware at the moment, but there will be more the next time :)
What do you think?
Besides, cause of the examination, portfolio and yadda yadda stress stuff there won't be daily posts next time. But I'm looking forward to post minimum once a week, so you might have at least some new stuff to watch at :)
Have a nice week!

Friday post! 8D
Yup, very creative caption.
And another older ACEO for today, cause I don't have much to show you right now - there is too much stuff that's not ready yet or has to be scanned first - with a better scanner than the one I have here. >_<'
Have a nice weekend! :D

ACEO again!
Hey out there, how are you?
Hope you're allright ;)
Today's picture is another ACEO and I screwed it up cause I dropped ink on it. But I like the rest and hey, everyone makes mistakes 8D You just learn from them (in this case, that you should discard the nib before putting it on the paper again!) ;)
Locks again! In water color on water color paper, outlines with sepia ink ;D
Hope it's warm and sunny wherever you are right now ;D

Doodle time!
Hi out there! 8D
Because I'm working on some bigger water color/colored ink pictures, there's not much time (and space) for other projects... so, doodle time! 8D Don't worry, there will be real pictures soon.Or at least some wip-pictures? :D
Today's doodle:
And I like it :) Its so bluuuuuee ^^
Sketch with pencil, inked with brush pen, colored in photoshop.
Have a nice day! :D

A Commission on Characters
Hey out there! 8D
Okay, strange, but I can't reply on your comments any more o_0; Sorry D: I'll figure something out...
So, the headline says everything, today's picture was a commission once, for some rpg-characters. It's also an older picture, I made it in spring/summer last year, and on the pencil-sketch I changed stuff again and again and again... that was slightly exhausting. But in the end, the customer was absolutely happy with the pic. And then I barely heard of him again. Well....
I had some trouble with scanning that thing, because that damn water color paper fluted more than it should, and so some areas might look slightly deformed that not are in real D:
Inked again with colored ink, the one in the front with grey, the other one with sepia, the coloration is water color and water color pencils. I had no references, just a text form description of the two :B
Memo to me (and other people out there): Never do a commission without an acceptance of order :/ That might save you from some annoyance. >_>
Have a nice day ^^

Ink and Vectors
Hey out there :D
My ink-phase is ongoing, and today there will be colored ink. (Yup. As I promised, more color ;D) And, because I'm working on my skills in several programs the same time, I took Illustrator and remade the same image as a vector graphic.
So, at first the ink image:
Working process: Scribble with pencil, outlines with nib and colored with brush, on water color paper. I really love this red ink, and I really hate that paper. Don't know why, but it developed a fuzzy surface during the inking and painting process (sometimes that happens because of erasing, but this paper was fuzzy over all, even on the plain white area on the left, where I didn't touch the paper with anything -_-)
But it's not that bad for a 20 minute pic, I think.
And now the vector version:
If you know Illustrator, I made this with the Pen Tool only (I think there are plug ins or something, that you can convert a scan directly into vectors, but on the one hand, I don't really know these plugins and on the other hand I guess it's the better practise do to that stuff manual ^^;) and the effect was, that I spend around 3 hours with that version of the picture 8D Guess there must be a quicker way to do that stuff ,
...But I still don't know if I like the clean look most vector pictures have. Sure, in lot's of cases it looks really cool, and sometimes you want that sterile atmosphere....but there are also lots and lots of pictures that look just really dead with that sleeked lines and forms, and I often think that's a pity D:
Yeah, I like it rough and dirty... eh, that came out wrong XD
So. What do you think?
Fist, something technical. I was told by some people that they couln't post comments on my blog, and now I changed some stuff. First try worked well, so anyone should be able to leave some comments here, even if you're anonymous :)

A third Art Noir
Hey out there!
So, I'm in an ink-phase at the moment, and so you will get some works of pure ink, colored ink or at least with inked outlines ;) Somehow, ink is more fun than I imagined before. It was more like I hated ink, cause every time I tried to outline something, I smeared over the lines so often that I couln't correct it with whiteout any more. And I hated ink so much because of that. XD
Anyway.
I like this black and white stuff. This one's made with black ink, brushpen and fine liner, and I think I should have worked with a nip at some details, specially the hair...
....next pictures will have more color again, I promise ;)
Have a nice day! :D

Back from Berlin! ...with ACEOs and less info about Berlin.
Hey out there!
As I said I was in Berlin last week, to apply to an art school with my portfolio.
In short: I failed.
But it was a nice trip as a whole, even if it was more exhausting than relaxing or something (and I didn't even shot much photos....), but more about that later. (That will get a whole blogpost for itself, but I don't have time and patience to write that right now, sorry. You will get that report maybe later this day. )
So. I got some last ACEOs for you, a kind of triptych this time :D
Black ink on light paperboard, with little shreds of screentone. These ones were spontaneous, I had that three blank cards left and just buyed some black ink, and that's the story.
They are just friends.
Anyway, I'll talk to you later 'bout Berlin.
Have a nice day! :D

Hey out there! :D
Okay, bad news first, there will be no posts the next week. That's because I'll be in Berlin for a qualification test on an art school, and I'm not sure how much time there will be to go online and do daily posts and stuff. Sorry! D:
So, but today there is another Kakao-Card, and a very nice person told me it's ACEO or ATC in english. (Klick here for wikipedia ;) ) Thank you! :D
This one is made with black ink and analog screen tone :)
Actually I like working with analog screen tone, even if it's more work than digital screen tone and not as half as easy to get along with it. And it's expensive. Damn, that stuff has absolutely no advantages... :B
Well than.
Over and out here, see you on Monday the 20th of February! :D
