Looks like rain again.

Heyho everyone!

Today we have a pic that's like 90% digital, woohoo!
Usually I prefer doing black outlines with ink on paper, but this one had only a pencil scribble and was thrown in the scanner right after that. Why?? Bc I have a new pen for my wacom (the "classic" pen, which is a weird name imo bc it's nothing like the wacom pen that comes with the tablets (which I would have named classic pen)) and this new pen is more like a real pen. The normal wacom pen is more like a brush, bc the handle is thick and a bit longer, whereas the new one is slim like a mechanical pencil. Which means, the balance and momentum is completely different, and to be quite honest, much, much better.
I just love that new pen!!
And working outlines is much comfy with this one, have a look!

"Looks like rain again.... we should head back soon."

Locks and Emma jog together on a regular basis. Actually they do lots of sports together if they find the time...

Still trying out new things, and I found some cool tutorials for Illustrator, so next time I'll probably post something more graphic and unusual for this blog ;)
Stay tuned, I love y'all :D

Blue Hood, Red Hands

Heyho everyone!

I'm back to drawing a lot in the last time, but unfortunately not much stuff I can post anywhere ^^° Sorry about that! But I'm also back to inking since I built myself a light box! YAY! That thing is helpful as fuck. And Idk but I think I prefer inking by hand over digital ink; but maybe it's just a question of the right brush settings (or a different tablet pen. Did I tell you my pen broke? I didn't realize how much I used that switch on the side until now. And now that switch is broken.... arfh. And these pens are fucking expensive....)

Anyways, after some hours fighting with the broken pen I had a result! :D

It's another character from the LO-Comicproject I drew some times before :)
And it turned out so great imo!! There was some fighting with details but I love the pose, the lines and I'm pretty happy with how the colors turned out :D Not that it has a big color palette but YAY XD
Maybe I'll print a poster with this at some point XD
And what do you think? :D

So, now get a big hug to all you people visiting my blog! ^^ Especially the silent ones ;) I love you all :D

See you soon <3

Collaboration time!

Hello everyone! :D

Back again unusually fast ;)

Last week I stumbled across a nice lineart, and because I'm working on my coloration skills, I asked the artist Ralf Singh wether he'd like to see a colored version of his lines.
He said yes, and here's the result :D  Check out his stuff, he's got more cool linearts and is working on a comic project!

Photoshop only :)

This was great fun! I'd like to do sth like this again ;) Somebody has some great lines for me to color? XD Just leave me a message and let's talk ;)

Everybody, have a nice week! Take care :D

WOOOOOOOSH HAIR

Hellas fellas!
So some time ago I was really excitet, because after that flop of getting into illustration classes I was going to work on an animated music video with a group. Unfortunately they're going with a live action idea now, which on the one hand is really cool, on the other hand not what I wanted to do in this group... damn. I like that project, it's very artsy black-white-gay-expressionism-stuff, but still...ANIMATION WHERE DID YOU GO

What to do?? Well if I can't do movie shorts, I'll go for gifs instead :< Remember my last post, where I showed you my new wallpaper? I thought it'd be cool if the hair was moving, and I couldn't sleep, so I did this:

But - I still couldn't sleep, and it bugged me that it was so stutter-y, so I did this one straight afterwards:

SO MUCH WIND IN THIS HAIR

WOOOOSH
YAY

What do you think? Which one do you like better? :D

Take care, see you soon <3

Blue Shark

Welcome again you people out there! 8D

You may now be introduced with some amazing piece of art, done in a breathtaking style, while using only a fineliner and a blue edding, accentuated only with a white ball pen...
Blah blah blah...
... let's skip that bullsh*t, I just love this pic from my sketchbook ;)

I'd like to go to an aquarium again. I was in a big one in Belgium once, and they had glass tunnels and corridors through the aquariums and you sometimes had sharks swimming next to you or over your head. Amazing! :D Do you've ever been to a aquarium? ^^

Have a nice day! :D

Copic resurrection

...successful!
I didn't use my copics for month now, and I was thinking about reselling them again, because digital stuff has its pros. But I nearly forget how much fun working analog is, and now I'm thinking of raising my copic colors and buying some polychromos... :'D

...and this is the result of the resurrection:

As said before, colors with copic markers. Outlines with multiliner on marker paper, scribble with pencil on copy paper. Pose inspired by Bleach :'D

The character will appear in the comic I'm working on - be curious... ;D
Criticism, anyone?

Have a nice day!

Exhausted. Scribbles?

Now that week was exhausting.

Not even because of lots of homework or something, but because we have to choose 3 of 10 classes next month, and that leads to discussions who will get in which course. Phew.

Also, I'm mostly scribbling the last time, so you'll probably get formerly scribble-mingle-mangles the next time.

Scribbletime!

Water color on water color paper, amazing model was Olivia Odd again, who went back to USA some time ago. Have a good time, girl! Hope I can draw you again some day in the futur! :D

Sleep well, guys.

Doodle time!

Hi out there! 8D

Because I'm working on some bigger water color/colored ink pictures, there's not much time (and space) for other projects... so, doodle time! 8D Don't worry, there will be real pictures soon.Or at least some wip-pictures? :D

Today's doodle:

And I like it :) Its so bluuuuuee ^^
Sketch with pencil, inked with brush pen, colored in photoshop.

Have a nice day! :D

Back from Berlin the 2nd, with some more info about Berlin ;)

Hi out there!
So, this is the actual report about the time in Berlin. Actually it's not a report, it's more of a summary. Well.

Because we had the great idea to take the city night liner to Berlin, we arrived there at 4:26 am. Which meant, that we had to spend around 6 1/2 hours somewhere with our heavy luggage. We ended up drinking coffee at big M and walking slowly through the central station. And it's an AMAZING train station! Seriously, that station flashed me, and I would move in there if I could XD I was so impressed, that I forgot to take photos there! (and maybe too tired and smashed from that 7 hour train trip...)

Jeah. After some coffees we went to the art school, turned in my portfolio, went to a friend to unload our luggage there and returned to the city to do some stupid tourist stuff. XD

Like taking photographs of the Brandenburger Tor (= Brandenburg Gate says wikipedia)...

Proof! I really was there ;)

(During this time I allready was that tired that we didn't even recognize that the picture was cut on the up and low edge. Damnit!)
Did I mention that it was f.........uuuucking cold in Berlin?! It's not that I try to hide my face on that photo or something, I just didn't want to expose more than necessary to that coldness. And we had that amazing gray sky till we traveled back home...

Well enough of the weather (it was just freaking cold!)...
We also visited the Holocaust Memorial. Walking through it, although its apparently just a bunch of grey building blocks, made me kind of uncomfortable. And it's also strangely fascinating for a bunch of blocks...
Shot from somewhere in the middle.

So, that was the day, and we just went to bed at 6pm. And slept. It was amazing.

The other day, we visited the Gemäldegalerie, and spent half the day watching at amazing paintings :D Than we went to the art school again, to get the result of the portfolio-test, and we spent about over an hour there standing in a queue O_o
Apparently there were about 300 people who tried for that study course alone, and the art school accepted just 30 for the second test... And according to the last years I was told from these 30 will just 15 get into the course in the end... and that put my dissapointment into another perspective. There are about 270 girls n guys who also didn't make it, and there are more art schools in the world. Yay! 8D

Third day we spent with some ineffective shopping (which means, we bought nothing), and I think the reason was kind of that "wow, I can buy all that stuff in cologne, too... and than I don't have to carry it the whole time and way back home!"
Guess Berlin is just a bigger cologne...
In the evening we ate some pizza with my fiends uncle. I've never eaten a better pizza in my life. *slobber*
Yeah, and the next day was the last day, and before we traveled back home, we visited an exhibition at Camera Works with works of Mark Laita. The exhibition was very small, just 3 rooms with big pictures, but the photograps were damn beautiful, and I wished I had the money to take that octopus and put it on my wall back home XD On the side of Camera Works is a small slide show of some pictures, but in real they're much more impressing ;)

Yeah, and than we traveled home, about 10 hours (with regional trains, because that was the cheapest way ^^; Only do that if you really have patience, good books and like train traveling XD Other ways it will bore the shit out of you. Believe me ;D).

Conclusion? Berlin is a grey and ugly town in winter, and I really don't need to live there, but I want to visit it again. In Summer. When it's not that cold ;)

Have a nice day ^^

Updated pic from yesterday, with different snow

Hi out there! :D

So, I finally managed to make myself a brush that looks a little more like snow, and unfortunately I had acually something to do at work, so I can't show you a new pic today. But there will be more tomorrow! ;D

Have a look at the new version:

....it's definitely more fluffy than the last one. And I kinda have christmas-feelings when I look at it now XD
What do you think, better? Worse? Nothing changed? 8D

Have a nice day ;D

Finally, there's some winter coming 8D

Hi out there!

Because it was like -9°C today morning, I couln't draw more beach-fanservice-pictures (I always had to think if they wouln't freeze XD). Instead you get some well-packed guy, standing in heavy snow, talking to... someone on the phone. (He's one of the main characters from my wannabeacomic-story, by the way. Or maybe THE mainchara... and yes, he's old 8D)
Well, my boss kept on complaining about the snow (he said that it looks like confetti). and I guess I'm going to search for another brush for the snow at some point. If I will find one, there will be an updated version of this pic.... So, enough said, have a look! :D

So, what do you think?

Cheers
