Time for another group pic! ^^ Last time you got the whole division, this time it's the hard core of Wu's gang ;)

From top-left to right:

Done from a rough pencil sketch as always, inked by hand and colored in PS CS6 :D




Maybe I'll try that one with a more dynamic background at some point, but right now I like it pretty much :D  What do you think? ^^

It's Wu again

Hello again everyone! :D

Last time was full of stuff again. I went to Berlin to visit some friends, met a friend I only knew online for years the first time in real life and went to the Making Games Talents in Munich. It was all great fun! :D

So, enough of this (who reads this anyway) and more for drawings!

It's Wu again, and I somehow managed to deal with my long time enemy "black ink" - I really really love how the outlines look, and I think I worked out the colors fine, too.

Her hand is what I love especially of this picture. But allover, this is one of my favorite pictures I drew of her 'till now :D
Of course I did a pencil drawing underneath the ink, and traced to a more ink-friendly paper. Have a look at this:

 The pencil-version is more rough, and thou' I love the rough look of pencil, this is one of the very few moments I love the ink and color version more than the pencil picture.

Hello out there! :D


Group photo time! XD I really like group pictures, but they're sometimes so annoying to draw ;) The only thing I love more is creating new characters, YAY! Seriously it's so hard to not bulk the story with unnecessary background informations about every single one of them XD .... but hey, short stories are always an option.. 8D

So, these are Captain Wu's best guys and girls ;)

Currently working on their profiles and storyboarding the first chapters .... building castles takes time.

What else? I'm in panic and looking for an internship (maybe I'll link you my portfolio at some point) and my life is a mess of moving out, fighting paperwork, finding money to buy food and similar stuff. Gah, I'll be so glad that this will be over soon.

Dusk and dawn

Gooood morning friends and followers!

Yep, it's been a while again, uah. No excuse for that.
But I'm trying to do some quality contend again, why I tried so sign up for illustration classes again - tried, because I don't know yet if I'll be in it. Apparently there are too many students applying for that class this year, so they have to do a small application procedure fist. So much for "free choice of classes"! Meh.

Anyways, I helped a group of film students with their motion graphic, so there'll be possibly a short animation to look at again :D
Btw, people seem to love animation, my miniclip of a ballerina got more than 1,000 notes on tumblr, (Thank you for that!) while the rest of my posts got barely 10, or even less >o<

BUT ANIMATIONS ARE EXHAUSTING!!

Yah, these two again.
Emma is waiting for the night to come, while Locks is still laying awake in the morning light.

First I just wanted to draw a pic of these two, standing somewhere smoking cigarettes, but somehow it turned out to be like this. They are similar, but somehow on different paths, in the same boat but turning in different directions.
The light setup was a new one, and I feel like I'm getting better in skipping the analog step of sketching, to a complete digital pic. What do you think?

... and I'm sick.
Like, literally, I can hardly speak and my nose is runny and my eyes 're streaming. Yikes.

It's nearly christmas, have some pics :D

Howdy, fellas! :D

First - I've finally got a tumblr ;) I'll upload the pics I'll post here as well as the old stuff and I reblog stuff I like and love, mostly art/design/animation/drawing and illustration stuff ;D
BUT the background information and my gibberish will stay here, because I'm one of these persons who don't like to read much text on tumblr ;)

I spent the most time this semester with the storyboard for our music video so I had to do lots of thumbnails and sketches on my gt, and HELL do I know little about layout and composition (good thing I had support by our cam girl Thesa >o<) . Most of it was try and error, but that 16:9 format is quite interesting, and I started to do some random sketches with my OCs, and I kinda like the results 8D I'd like to post some pics from the actual storyboard, too, but I have to go back and clarify that with my group, cuz Idk how touchy they are about "prepublications" ... ^^°
So, enough talking, PICTURES! :D

and OH GAWD it's been more than a month since my last post... Argh. Okay. Probably there won't be a lot more the next time either... D: Because my studies are STRESSFUL AS HELL. Like, before christmas, I have to do an interview with a storyboard/concept person, we have to shoot our music video, shoot our documentary, record an audio drama and write an exam and do some paper for another course.

Help me.... :'D

Okay, most of these are group works, so the pressure and work is somehow spread cuz nobody has to work alone. But still, it's a shitload of work...

BUT, always look at the bright side of life, eh? 8D

By the way, our music video will be to the song "Space Invaders" of the band "Pornophonique" :D

Oh HELL YEAH. I love drawing kicks and punches and material arts stuff, even if it's difficult and tricky most of the time ;) BUT IT'S FUN! :D And yes, it's Emma again! Unfortunately there are no news around the comic project... There is just no time left for a project that size... it's creeping forwards in snail's pace....yeah...

This thing is so different from the gt I had before... I think I still need some time to get used to it... ^^° And because I'm a color noob, I work only black n white right now XD

Have you missed me? 8D Sorry for not posting that long time! There has been some shitty stuff and lots of nice stuff that kept me from my blog ;) BUT NOW I'M BACK! 8D How have you been lately? I hope you're allright ;D

I kinda rediscovered some traditional medias for me, such as screentone :D It's just so funny to work with XD  That pic was just a pencil sketch in my sketchbook, and when I found my screentones I inked it and threw some screentone on it ;)

If I mark this as a preview-poster of my comic, would anyone think it's porn??
I ask 'cause apparently there are some strange connections made this time; As an example, I was sitting in the common room, drawing a pic with two guys on it - and while I was drawing, three guys came up to me and asked, whether "they're together, like a couple" or what.
What the f.... I'm still wondering why they made that connection?!  (I mean yes, sometimes I draw gay couples and stuff, but I bareley knew these people and they didn't knew me and these guys on the pic weren't even touching each other (in a way that could have been interpreted as gay... whatever))
Maybe it's "A girl drawing "comics" must mean she's drawing "manga" must mean she's drawing yaoi"? 8D

I'm not even angry or something, I'm just massively confused how they made that connection ;)

It's working!

YES!

Finally, a feeling of success! My Pc is back and working fine :D There are still these non-working scanners, but that's okay for the moment for I haven't really time for that stuff right now... Portfolio for Nuremberg is still in work and has to be done since next week thursday. Bah blah blah working hard blah blah... you know. Same procedure as every time ^^;

Anyway, breaks are made for drawing different stuff XD

First and foremost made to try out the adjustments of the gt and ps, made only with transparent brush, time about an hour...
