This is a collection of every kind of (mostly) drawing stuff I do, let it be scribbles, illustrations or even little animations, littered with stories of college life ;)Nakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17191199771217938276noreply@blogger.comBlogger145125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-951298441175951015.post-89915059876136807652017-10-22T18:21:00.002+02:002017-10-22T18:21:49.387+02:00Hello, goodbye!<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">Hello,</span><br />everyone who still stumbles upon this blog! :D</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Since there is still traffic (Why? How? Who are you? How do you find this??) I decided I'll give this blog, and the few fans that maybe come back every once in a while some last (?) words...<br /></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As you can all see, there's more than a year since the last update, and somehow, this blog never really worked the way I wished it did. It was great fun, but somehow the medium just... didn't feel right.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Anyways, I didn't stop drawing, and I'm finally getting my thesis done, and I started an Instagram account like, 3 weeks ago, and I have to say, it works better for me.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So, if you're still interested in stuff I draw, have a look at<br /><a href="https://www.instagram.com/realnakimon/">@realnakimon</a><br />and if you're also on instagram, leave me a like, a comment or maybe even consider following me :D<br /><br />Whatever you decide to do - thank you for reading, thank you for following this blog.<br />You're great.<br />I love you.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Goodbye!! ♡♡♡</span>Nakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17191199771217938276noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-951298441175951015.post-85330480487173013362016-08-30T12:00:00.000+02:002016-08-30T12:00:33.659+02:00Much color! So wow ! :D A comic page in color!<br />
<br />
<br />
Since I'm scribbling comic pages a lot the last time, and an online discussion about making comics, I decided to give it a shot and convert one of the scribs in full color.<br />
<br />
Fitting to the hot weather outside, everything is covered in snow and ice :'D<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN8TkALyusD9KSvKPUjPKuitE2CPJHqNtHu03v7LVbbOsADXKB6AzJAbsncTWZtOFYTsLb3qvGbT9nKIHIKWRT0Tk593qh0oXQiyYP8DwdQNZwGnKelADydeeIZnqaW3Hkw-jHnBFvfye3/s1600/locks_meets_pi_page1_oversat.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoZDfD9Kru2nqC6kTqi9nHYXZc0FwvOvLv76gdTKdF8Dkv0_mKToiUx8a1qEd1driwL0S_Xzoj-BeJSe0JhYOGJJIJHgztjE-1iKlUk15wUA0A7xLIjCYN32aWD9U6ezdRBq_337XtYUNp/s1600/lmpp1_4blog.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoZDfD9Kru2nqC6kTqi9nHYXZc0FwvOvLv76gdTKdF8Dkv0_mKToiUx8a1qEd1driwL0S_Xzoj-BeJSe0JhYOGJJIJHgztjE-1iKlUk15wUA0A7xLIjCYN32aWD9U6ezdRBq_337XtYUNp/s640/lmpp1_4blog.jpg" width="450" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Here we go!<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I made <a href="https://theonewiththathat.blogspot.de/search/label/theonewiththathat">full color comic pages before</a>, but this felt a lot different. It's not just that it's not the cartoony style and more complex outlines but also the amount of thought that goes into the coloring and shading. In the end, this thing consumed a lot more time to make than I give to pics usually, and easily like 4 or 5 times the amount of the cartoon pages :'D</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
That to say, I'm really glad how the atmosphere turned out. I wanted it to be light and cold when this characters meet the first time, and that just works so much better in color <3 </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Still, as much as I love the results, I think if I ever manage to serialize a comic, color pages will be an exception bc they eat up so much work and time ^^° </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
What do you think? :D<br /><br />Have a nice day! ^^</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

Also I'm trying to put one of the comic pages I've scribbled in the last time in color, so stay tuned for that one. @_@<br />

Heyho everyone! :D<br /><br />Is anyone heading to the Role Play Convention in Cologne these days?<br />
'Cuz I'll be there, helping out a friend at the artist alley (Illustratorenmeile)! :D And I bring a bunch of scribbles and pics, so if you're there, just say hello! ;)<br /><br />
Not much new stuff otherwise, at least nothing that isn't depressing. Anyways, have this sketch of cute lil' Otis! :D<br />

Being underwater was always fascinating to me.<br />
I love the light, the dull sound, the feeling of being surrounded by water and the comfort of floating in it.<br />
And on the other hand you have this dull pressure, the knowing that you cannot fucking breathe and that you in fact don't have save ground under your feet to stand on. Not to mention all the known and unknown dangers that water holds. Which is why I never seriously considered to get a diver's license. The ocean is fucking terrifying!<br />
<br />
Back to drawing!<br />
This one started with a small scribble in my sketchbook, and I first wanted to draw the thing again on bigger, better paper and work from there. But I shortly after just scanned the sketch and worked from there. <span style="font-size: x-small;">I'm still not over how amazing my new cintiq pen is. It's so amazing, really!</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCSVYEWhGb8ZUnD9WaENUPUNAuSVQQldD6Hibp2xaOgALaipTqANFLLAGDVLiMQoQJIWf8K0wD-C9Hgz0nS-09l0Py4_MJ2ybVaJdh_Z3KIk8gfXapsegrkbprae0IBSEaIa_jhBpo9UUI/s1600/locks_smoking_underwater_4blog.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCSVYEWhGb8ZUnD9WaENUPUNAuSVQQldD6Hibp2xaOgALaipTqANFLLAGDVLiMQoQJIWf8K0wD-C9Hgz0nS-09l0Py4_MJ2ybVaJdh_Z3KIk8gfXapsegrkbprae0IBSEaIa_jhBpo9UUI/s640/locks_smoking_underwater_4blog.jpg" width="384" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
I really like the image of underwater stuff, but for some reason I hardly ever draw it? Maybe I should think of a mermaid story or something similar...<br />
<br />
For comparison, this is the original sketch:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfKe95RzTBqEgDjvlI9XH-gVnJHnR1rXYyJiV9Q69Wgu7427um-X6zIsz05bJvuR9EpzNzkpxV1IJpVZ_vnRKMazp0eMRdPYxj6H4bqONTg1XJqFdISQkYUhwRfWecWCdNXfQGpg-KZDSz/s1600/locks-breathing-underwater_scribble.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfKe95RzTBqEgDjvlI9XH-gVnJHnR1rXYyJiV9Q69Wgu7427um-X6zIsz05bJvuR9EpzNzkpxV1IJpVZ_vnRKMazp0eMRdPYxj6H4bqONTg1XJqFdISQkYUhwRfWecWCdNXfQGpg-KZDSz/s320/locks-breathing-underwater_scribble.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The biggest problem I had with inking (no matter if digital or analog techniques) is that I always had the feeling that so much of the dynamic of the original sketch gets lost when I do it, and it was so frustrating to see how amazing other people draw all kinds of dynamic stuff with ink. But I think I'm coming closer to the look I want to achieve every time I draw now, and that really really makes me happy :)<br /><br />What do you folks think?<br />
<br />
See you soon! ;)<br />

<br />
Such a hella good movie and beside of the great story and characters I LOVE the editing of the movie, and the COLORS! It definitely deserved every oscar it got and probably even more <3 This movie is just too beautiful to look at <3 <3 <3<br />
And so, in order to get better at Illustrator I created these two: <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I'm so proud of the starry night skies and the war rig! XD<br />
Maybe I'll get to do more like this in the future, if inspiration strikes again 8D<br />
What do you think? U like the stuff you see?<br />
<br />
However your opinion, have a rly nice weekend!<br />
<br />Ride eternal, shiny and chrome! <br />Nakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17191199771217938276noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-951298441175951015.post-40937462951566502812016-03-15T16:51:00.000+01:002016-03-15T16:51:01.429+01:00Space Posters! :DYeaaaaah, hello everyone! :D<br />
<br />
Here's the stuff that's completely different to the stuff that's usually on this blog! :D<br />
As I told y'all in previous posts, I'm trying to get used to Illustrator and Indesign these days, and yup there's gonna be some graphic stuff in the next time, but don't worry, I won't stop drawing ;)<br />
So here we go:<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<table class="tabelle" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: left;">
<tbody>
<tr align="center"> <td><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhty4mFchkDPA-NCax2E_kMhIEdG6hDA9C-CXN3uHlRD_y-2g0xwWaDfVzaJZMfk9EBBE1y_lP2uSFqLWBH20vsJfNOc9MPk9mzQ4VfVe1LxGfwrBjfFrQgXVh7MjcLpeZGjOLXCAM08ocF/s1600/Sonne_poster.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhty4mFchkDPA-NCax2E_kMhIEdG6hDA9C-CXN3uHlRD_y-2g0xwWaDfVzaJZMfk9EBBE1y_lP2uSFqLWBH20vsJfNOc9MPk9mzQ4VfVe1LxGfwrBjfFrQgXVh7MjcLpeZGjOLXCAM08ocF/s400/Sonne_poster.jpg" width="282" /></a></td> <td><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzZpN9VoipqM-_Nz2KzdQ4RUb0vTlBLpl4gsmQv2p8EN1TY8Ui8mPE96TB0udeyqDcFRzYYuBpwHD5YPTWwNWCSJ_Kfdek_CoOKdpUJyix0hF85f1Amkn5vSam5aDOX-EWY87z1rCZZEoB/s1600/witchheadnebulae_poster.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzZpN9VoipqM-_Nz2KzdQ4RUb0vTlBLpl4gsmQv2p8EN1TY8Ui8mPE96TB0udeyqDcFRzYYuBpwHD5YPTWwNWCSJ_Kfdek_CoOKdpUJyix0hF85f1Amkn5vSam5aDOX-EWY87z1rCZZEoB/s400/witchheadnebulae_poster.jpg" width="282" /></a></td> </tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
Ain't space pretty? The "Constancy" one is our nice and shiny sun (obviously), the "Chaos" one is the "<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IC_2118" rel="nofollow">Witch Head Nebula</a>", a very cool interstellar sun-breeding location, check it out!<br />
The whole thing was pretty much new territory for me, as I have worked with vectors before (in Flash) but more like "ok I draw this with this <strike>shitty</strike> tools here so I can scale it up to infinity and beyond" and not with much actual use of specific instuments and tools of the program. And bc of that, I was looking for a tutorial that didn't require too much knowledge of the program but wasn't all too basic, too. And so I found this: <span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;"> </span></span><br />
<a href="http://blog.spoongraphics.co.uk/tutorials/how-to-create-a-dark-lunar-poster-design-with-ps-ai"><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">How To Create a Dark Lunar Poster Design with PS & AI</span></span></a><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;"> </span></span><br />
<span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">I have to say I liked to play around with the geometric patterns and elements a lot, and I'm looking forward to combine them with my drawings somehow ;) The whole photo manipulation in PS was allready familiar but I didn't do that for the sake of photo manip before, so I learned a bunch of new stuff there, too :D All'round this was fun! The other tutorials of the page sound great, too, and I'm allready on another one, that might come up here next ;) If you're interested, check the page out, apart from tutorials they have a nice bunch of free stuff and in their tuts are always links too other pages with great resources, too :D</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">Have a great day, everyone! ^^</span></span><br />
<br />

<br />
Today we have a pic that's like 90% digital, woohoo!<br />
Usually I prefer doing black outlines with ink on paper, but this one had only a pencil scribble and was thrown in the scanner right after that. Why?? Bc I have a new pen for my wacom (the "classic" pen, which is a weird name imo bc it's nothing like the wacom pen that comes with the tablets (which I would have named classic pen)) and this new pen is more like a real pen. The normal wacom pen is more like a brush, bc the handle is thick and a bit longer, whereas the new one is slim like a mechanical pencil. Which means, the balance and momentum is completely different, and to be quite honest, much, much better.<br />
I just love that new pen!!<br />
And working outlines is much comfy with this one, have a look!<br />
<br />

Still trying out new things, and I found some cool tutorials for Illustrator, so next time I'll probably post something more graphic and unusual for this blog ;)<br />
Stay tuned, I love y'all :D<br />

HELLO AGAIN EVERYBODY!!<br /><br />How're you all??<br />First of all, sorry for my abstinence here, life is tough at the moment, and things are rarely going the way I want them to. Also I want to thank the two anonymous commentators who were worried I might have abandoned the blog. I didn't! I was just not able to post anything.<br />
Anyways, I started to learn Illustrator and InDesign a bit, and I will post some stuff I made in these, so there might be some different stuff from what is here now in the future. Also, if anyone can rec some good tutorials for either one of the two programs above or Photoshop, I'd be very happy!! :D<br /><br />Meanwhile I grabbed my water colors and did some warming up :D An yup, it's the police team again ;)<br />

<br />

Maybe I'll try that one with a more dynamic background at some point, but right now I like it pretty much :D What do you think? ^^<br />

<br />
And yup, I actually did something I don't do often: FAN ART!<br />
And of course, it's <b>Mad Max: Fury Road</b> fan art. Because it's the best freaking action movie in like, a decade? Or two? Okay, the last time I had the urge to watch a movie over and over again, it was Captain America: The Winter Solider, which is not that long ago. The motivation then was almost the same as now; a great story, cool, developed characters and awesome action*. And MM:FR is so good in all of these and even more. Like, I can't even remember when I saw that much kickass women in a movie?! I love Black Widow, but she stands kinda lonely between the other avengers**. And this has like, a bunch of warrior women in it, and I love every single one of them. <br />
<br />Especially Valkyrie!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXM6RxhDX1RMsr3x0MEbG0qS_1u4xwpKddHVPtbSlR-N0Rj_oOlKcmardsAPiwzm86LpnRaNPGVRld48Im4jcit3a1OCEPoJ2uRf7lZne8svF6HNh5upw1-BBENhS3JBxhB9_Nw6JXhYRW/s1600/Valkyrie_4blog_color.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXM6RxhDX1RMsr3x0MEbG0qS_1u4xwpKddHVPtbSlR-N0Rj_oOlKcmardsAPiwzm86LpnRaNPGVRld48Im4jcit3a1OCEPoJ2uRf7lZne8svF6HNh5upw1-BBENhS3JBxhB9_Nw6JXhYRW/s640/Valkyrie_4blog_color.jpg" width="468" /></a></div>
She dosen't even have that much screentime, but gah, I think from the Vuvalini she's definitely my favorite, close followed from the Keeper of the Seeds. Hand to the heart, Furiosa is unreached on the top of everything, but Valkyrie is like, standing next to her on the ranking. And she really deserves more appreciation! >o< <br />
I started out with a pencil sketch as always, and finished analog work with the ink version:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRgI3vqs5_n84HDHSXrQhPdr0en6XgM5n-tzflWpPnqa9opQuj9cq_2fd2-v6cj4bRb4on15TWSvCXUXY_G9XiI7ryawB3KQnfqaQEJTQbilU-z4rZb4AdtDDSeBryNpJPn9H317HvhGvI/s1600/Valkyrie_4blog_sw.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRgI3vqs5_n84HDHSXrQhPdr0en6XgM5n-tzflWpPnqa9opQuj9cq_2fd2-v6cj4bRb4on15TWSvCXUXY_G9XiI7ryawB3KQnfqaQEJTQbilU-z4rZb4AdtDDSeBryNpJPn9H317HvhGvI/s640/Valkyrie_4blog_sw.jpg" width="468" /></a></div>
Now I think I could have put some more dirt in the ink version, kinda like the stuff in the background from the post before this one. But whelp, noted for the next time!<br />
<br />
So, what do you think? Did you watched Mad Max: Fury Road? :D<br />
<br />
Have a great time and a sunny weekend! <3 ^^<br />
<br />
~ Naki<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: xx-small;"> * and an awesome soundtrack, great dialogues, great stunts, cool new characters, a great antagonist, FEELINGS, and, you get the idea. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: xx-small;">**And I hated her arc in Age of Ultron. How can you fuck up a characterization that bad? Gnarf.</span>Nakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17191199771217938276noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-951298441175951015.post-7774194574627782592015-05-29T15:30:00.000+02:002015-05-29T15:30:00.627+02:00BULLETPROOF VESTS! EXPLOSION! KATANAS! (sort of.) YAY!Hello out there! :D<br /> <br />
A while ago I had the urge to splash around with ink, especially with the weird and awesome effects you can do with that stuff (and any other color that's just liquid and opaque enough). Liters of ink, opaque white and 2389 tissues later, this pic was the result:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjk1F-n_iKUh57Sxy8S0ImO5_LYyYmf5DMbTWRyg0KzRBf5W7f7A2-ulO8Za6zJtXbkXfmi7_vGTLbULZq5k5ol8R5cKuw0o_5D7pqGGisPoOnVuQ_GXK7pkWel8dFP5YA7S4oJExDivnpK/s1600/Chess_storm2_bw.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjk1F-n_iKUh57Sxy8S0ImO5_LYyYmf5DMbTWRyg0KzRBf5W7f7A2-ulO8Za6zJtXbkXfmi7_vGTLbULZq5k5ol8R5cKuw0o_5D7pqGGisPoOnVuQ_GXK7pkWel8dFP5YA7S4oJExDivnpK/s640/Chess_storm2_bw.jpg" width="420" /></a></div>
The katana-like daggers (shortswords??) are a little bit of a stretch for this character, as she usually would rather fight with guns or combat knifes, but standing in the aftermath of an explosion counts as an extreme situation and extreme situations require weird weapon choices. <span style="font-size: xx-small;">I learned that from action movies!</span><br />
<br />
Unfortunately I used an A3 drawing block, and was really unmotivated bc scanning it would have to be in parts and be put together afterwards (and I hate our scanner. GAH)... So this picture molded around here for some month. ANYWAYS motivation knocked and was like "AY let's do this!" and I scanned the damn pic! Luckily it was way less complicated than expected, and I had the black n white version you can see above on my pc, finally! 8D<br />
Now the next step is obviously COLORS!! <br />
And while I still struggle with colors (as with apparently everything else) I really like the outcome of this one. I had a very weird orange version at first, and I'm really glad I just put it on the side for a few days and worked it around until this one below:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS85HsLb7OVyKrsjUrwyWt9ngJTv2fB8ThW1PmrG3uV70vdEIzhDuovCgh98RAuuyzo2vjbVUmnX43QyJoa-3Zry3jfe3w01qQ7huXv_CmxtL0uxXO09uxc9O_Si5YHBtDwfS-FSpG549B/s1600/Chess_storm2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS85HsLb7OVyKrsjUrwyWt9ngJTv2fB8ThW1PmrG3uV70vdEIzhDuovCgh98RAuuyzo2vjbVUmnX43QyJoa-3Zry3jfe3w01qQ7huXv_CmxtL0uxXO09uxc9O_Si5YHBtDwfS-FSpG549B/s640/Chess_storm2.jpg" width="420" /></a></div>
Yo.<br />
So, what do YOU think?<br />
<br />
Take care of yourselves! <3 Nakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17191199771217938276noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-951298441175951015.post-35780266737078188782015-05-22T15:40:00.000+02:002015-05-23T01:05:25.450+02:00Blue Hood, Red HandsHeyho everyone!<br />
<br />
I'm back to drawing a lot in the last time, but unfortunately not much stuff I can post anywhere ^^° Sorry about that! But I'm also back to inking since I built myself a light box! YAY! That thing is helpful as fuck. And Idk but I think I prefer inking by hand over digital ink; but maybe it's just a question of the right brush settings (or a different tablet pen. Did I tell you my pen broke? I didn't realize how much I used that switch on the side until now. And now that switch is broken.... arfh. And these pens are fucking expensive....)<br />
<br />
Anyways, after some hours fighting with the broken pen I had a result! :D <br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8j34-PS-ViNTHc7opg9G50OLieFLDicNNWqZ2V7dI6UkJCY8nHg_eIVNt6HexQ8clTT3_SSYAGjbU1Hc1bIe1FS33-fBedEzEWG4y1TzqgjjefyHTOuUPikkfYXTJSrraVX-NL_gkPC6O/s1600/assassin_knife_blue_corr9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8j34-PS-ViNTHc7opg9G50OLieFLDicNNWqZ2V7dI6UkJCY8nHg_eIVNt6HexQ8clTT3_SSYAGjbU1Hc1bIe1FS33-fBedEzEWG4y1TzqgjjefyHTOuUPikkfYXTJSrraVX-NL_gkPC6O/s640/assassin_knife_blue_corr9.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
It's another character from the LO-Comicproject I drew <a href="http://theonewiththathat.blogspot.de/2015/01/throwing-out-all-old-stuff.html">some</a> <a href="http://theonewiththathat.blogspot.de/2012/12/copic-resurrection.html">times </a>before :) <br />
And it turned out so great imo!! There was some fighting with details but I love the pose, the lines and I'm pretty happy with how the colors turned out :D Not that it has a big color palette but YAY XD<br />
Maybe I'll print a poster with this at some point XD<br />
And what do you think? :D<br />
<br />
So, now get a big hug to all you people visiting my blog! ^^ Especially the silent ones ;) I love you all :D<br />
<br />
See you soon <3<br />

<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
Again, I tried to illustrate different daytimes/light situations and surfaces - which is so much more easy with color. At last I with this pictures it was!<br />
<br />
Pencil-outlines are always a little bit messy to work with, because you usually don't have the clear borders ink has, and with a black n white scan too much gets lost. I'm still trying to find a better solution here (suggestions and tips always welcome), even if I really like how they turned out here! :><br />
My favourite is the third one; I've always disliked grey and brown, but they look so great. I might even overcome the aversion against these colors, if they always turn out to be so harmonious ;D Do you have a favourite? :D<br />
<br />
That's it from me now, see you soon ;)<br />

<br />
<br />
No, this is not about horror monsters, sorry ;) It's more a little experiment; if you draw humans, the focus is nearly always on the face. Which is pretty logical, because it's where most of the communication is sourced from. as a result, most artists start with the head and face and build the whole picture around it, using the head as scale.<br />
And while I'm not going that far to leave the head out completely, lets see how good you can transport a personality without seeing the face of the person!<br />
<br />

<br />
These are the first three, and they will come in color, too. Two are allready finished, you'll see all three next week! ;)<br />
As so often I used pencil and mechanical pencil on common drawing board; and I tried to capture some more unusual light or surface situations, like hard sunlight in the first, or the shadow on the water in the last one. It was not as hard as I believed, and I love every single one of them :D<br />
If you have any suggestions of what light/surface compositions I should try, let me know in a comment! \°o°/<br />
<br />
That's it for now, stay tuned and take care.<br />
See you next week in fresh color! :D<br />

<br />
Last time was full of stuff again. I went to Berlin to visit some friends, met a friend I only knew online for years the first time in real life and went to the Making Games Talents in Munich. It was all great fun! :D<br />
>>Also, if you read this, dear person I met at the MGTs, I loved your drawings!! Please contact me, bc you were really cool and unfortunately I don't have any contact info of yours, and I'd really love to see more of your comic! :D << <br />
<br />
So, enough of this (who reads this anyway) and more for drawings!<br />
<br />It's Wu again, and I somehow managed to deal with my long time enemy "black ink" - I really really love how the outlines look, and I think I worked out the colors fine, too. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5AUBIE70aW2Ekm5yJh_dfqeW8s-sf-6ZFjYd_7-wByGsPQHD7MFYhaH6ACSlJ8K6jJdgJGx3jKtMcpNRpje29jTQFKQ2ZnNxSzw5l3yJWLuucoQSiJuYU7Zdu9zjN20gdB85sm3zNhZze/s1600/Wu_wreckedx.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5AUBIE70aW2Ekm5yJh_dfqeW8s-sf-6ZFjYd_7-wByGsPQHD7MFYhaH6ACSlJ8K6jJdgJGx3jKtMcpNRpje29jTQFKQ2ZnNxSzw5l3yJWLuucoQSiJuYU7Zdu9zjN20gdB85sm3zNhZze/s1600/Wu_wreckedx.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<br />
Her hand is what I love especially of this picture. But allover, this is one of my favorite pictures I drew of her 'till now :D<br />
Of course I did a pencil drawing underneath the ink, and traced to a more ink-friendly paper. Have a look at this: <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgib1TH1WGgPxShEBXWxLhSPhClSN4ZWt30l8145X79U5_BZ5Y0_dip4Otyq06G-ZeEepwKkiW3hxq_45C7-kSwpWWqn7FGdpqKzjaCFypRwrljEZeNeFIDUuygctSSIemR5fCEIKOPkxaf/s1600/Wu_wrecked_pencil.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgib1TH1WGgPxShEBXWxLhSPhClSN4ZWt30l8145X79U5_BZ5Y0_dip4Otyq06G-ZeEepwKkiW3hxq_45C7-kSwpWWqn7FGdpqKzjaCFypRwrljEZeNeFIDUuygctSSIemR5fCEIKOPkxaf/s1600/Wu_wrecked_pencil.jpg" height="640" width="450" /></a></div>
<br />
The pencil-version is more rough, and thou' I love the rough look of
pencil, this is one of the very few moments I love the ink and color
version more than the pencil picture. <br />
What do you think? :D<br />
<br />
Take care of yourselves! Eat more vegetables! No really, more and more people are ill here at the moment, so really, take care. <br />
<br />
I love you! See you soon! :D<br />

<h2 class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
WELCOME AGAIN and HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!</h2>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's been some time, sorry for that. Life just ain't easy some times, and even if you have the time to fetch your hobbies in theory, life practice dosen't always work that way. So, thanks to all the people who are still following me, and sorry to all those who worried I might have given up here. <span style="font-size: large;">A big hug to all of you!!</span> <span style="font-size: xx-small;">(Also, if there would come the time I might REALLY give up on the blog or the story, I would let you know, bc it really unsettles me when people just stop posting. Who knows what happend to them??)</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I even did some stuff, I just didn't manage to post it. Including some weird color experiments, YAY! So, new year, fresh start and let's throw out all the old stuff that was waiting in my little blogfolder to be shown to the world, wheee :D</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Lets start with some bloodwork!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRJZwjtiK-neRr6o7HlYjlOpDQdV9Dz5gkNgCX2VXmidyeKymu3DX57h8HtLbOjzWf5IO22Eb3WNW3cB5YYpMgQqm6_D9Fq0F344515uIlAVcgKLpIZV5pVz9xsEIe1942Wq5UZyiui36F/s1600/locks_bloody.jpg" height="640" width="454" /></div>
<br />
I like this picture very much. It's more a what-if than a piece that might happen in a story but I really really like how the colors turned out in this one.<br />
<br />
And now let's go straight to the color experiments! :D<br />
<br />
<table class="tabelle">
<tbody>
<tr> <td><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1VMX1izCaEFMIVkSN6gGcq6V7aLBm6QVypuJ_Imkn7M_gBnSCwYGRBm_iNuMS_UqSv5TMxD30QAdXpfcrJUzwKIHZm_xQ2W1IegAu0FR3pk2ak9Ym-Z0ArE6rutf1Oc97C07adcgHCOe0/s1600/locks_hurt_as_always.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1VMX1izCaEFMIVkSN6gGcq6V7aLBm6QVypuJ_Imkn7M_gBnSCwYGRBm_iNuMS_UqSv5TMxD30QAdXpfcrJUzwKIHZm_xQ2W1IegAu0FR3pk2ak9Ym-Z0ArE6rutf1Oc97C07adcgHCOe0/s1600/locks_hurt_as_always.jpg" height="320" width="239" /></a></td> <td><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnJO-EaX_tmFiS64qUbwsOlHYJn3tEhQbq_i57V1Uo6TIGzmRsrg5CQ0A8yHqsATCe6Ql3fP430vXp0imOTkL69-ngOGrUtDlCmZRtxaTkQ8ZQC4RL4Goc8GHjMEOUfAKzcrRcLQXH5Vfn/s1600/weird_but_cool.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnJO-EaX_tmFiS64qUbwsOlHYJn3tEhQbq_i57V1Uo6TIGzmRsrg5CQ0A8yHqsATCe6Ql3fP430vXp0imOTkL69-ngOGrUtDlCmZRtxaTkQ8ZQC4RL4Goc8GHjMEOUfAKzcrRcLQXH5Vfn/s1600/weird_but_cool.jpg" height="320" width="239" /></a></td> <td><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_OK8lz2_IMb5D52RDCMkWeSFtCHhIz4t-hGSt8pbgUiy13b0g4I6Ihi3mQC3hplL9mPw6EK_Tx-uzDH2qGCJTX70j8yJ_c3p1qvd24Luq4rcnFZOV4lzt1NCfcpgEjLN7qM2cMzgGTuOL/s1600/locks_on_acid.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_OK8lz2_IMb5D52RDCMkWeSFtCHhIz4t-hGSt8pbgUiy13b0g4I6Ihi3mQC3hplL9mPw6EK_Tx-uzDH2qGCJTX70j8yJ_c3p1qvd24Luq4rcnFZOV4lzt1NCfcpgEjLN7qM2cMzgGTuOL/s1600/locks_on_acid.jpg" height="320" width="239" /></a></td> </tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
I think the one in the middle is my favourite, but I also like that weird pink thing on the right. Doing these was so much fun! :D Short after them, I made this one:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLFQKrYRx44s59AHP9f3rR3J-Ze7iRvPB3WnXOpnuep7XT1f_cVXIlUT2xoyjJI_WWf5KKNeS6bE7rVumpdli2cdVyHIVGyx58mILMHh3P2keR6AKCTxiUiRxNPLZTspWbGRsnLT4nHSPi/s1600/contract3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLFQKrYRx44s59AHP9f3rR3J-Ze7iRvPB3WnXOpnuep7XT1f_cVXIlUT2xoyjJI_WWf5KKNeS6bE7rVumpdli2cdVyHIVGyx58mILMHh3P2keR6AKCTxiUiRxNPLZTspWbGRsnLT4nHSPi/s1600/contract3.jpg" height="640" width="460" /></a></div>
That might even be the same colors like the on above :D I love this one very much, although the colors ain't fitting the picture regarding content, but HEY! So much fun!<br />
<br />
So, and in the end, we have some studies for light and composition, which ain't that exciting but I'll show you anyways ;)<br />

<br />
<br />
Group photo time! XD I really like group pictures, but they're sometimes so annoying to draw ;) The only thing I love more is creating new characters, YAY! Seriously it's so hard to not bulk the story with unnecessary background informations about every single one of them XD .... but hey, short stories are always an option.. 8D<br />
<br />
So, these are Captain Wu's best guys and girls ;)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Currently working on their profiles and storyboarding the first chapters .... building castles takes time.<br />
<br />
See you next time! :D <br />

Heyho everyone! :D</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm here again! ^^ After some cramped time with moving out and moving in there is some light on the horizont that it might be better soon. YAY!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
But I still need to find a desk and a chair so that I can work on my PC again (yeah, I see the benefits of a laptop now... but who wants to work on a cintiq using a laptop?! 8D) </div>
Anyways, some while ago (like, MONTH) I made a scribble of one of my teammates, because she is really pretty and wears such cute chlothes and has a great style so I just had to draw it XD<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And finally worked it over in ps (getting better with digital inking, YAY). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So, meet Beyzar! :D</div>

<br />
Back again unusually fast ;)<br />
<br />
Last week I stumbled across a nice lineart, and because I'm working on my coloration skills, I asked the artist Ralf Singh wether he'd like to see a colored version of his lines. <br />
He said yes, and here's the result :D <a href="http://facebook.com/artistandstoryteller">Check out his stuff, he's got more cool linearts and is working on a comic project! </a><br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Photoshop only :)</span></div>
<br />
This was great fun! I'd like to do sth like this again ;) Somebody has some great lines for me to color? XD Just leave me a message and let's talk ;)<br />
<br />
Everybody, have a nice week! Take care :DNakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17191199771217938276noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-951298441175951015.post-80444296053645706632014-09-23T15:00:00.000+02:002014-09-23T15:00:04.095+02:00YAY, another experiment!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />Or, what happens if you find a rough lineart on your pc and have too many PS-brushes and patterns you didn't try out. 8D<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

What else? I'm in panic and looking for an internship (maybe I'll link you my portfolio at some point) and my life is a mess of moving out, fighting paperwork, finding money to buy food and similar stuff. Gah, I'll be so glad that this will be over soon.<br />
<br />
...I guess I don't have much to say today. Stay tuned. See you next time. I love you all!

I'm desperatly trying to throw together an usable portfolio so I can go become a trainee somewhere for 6 month... guess I'll tell you more on that topic in a later post, so back to this one. (But if anyone has a hot tip or advice or anything for a design/illustration/2D animation internship, just contact me ;) )<br />
<br />It's just trying out colors and shading. Who cares for backgrounds! (or swords for that matter)<br />
<br />

Strage pose is strage although I drew this one with help of a stock photo. Also I think the foot is either enormously stretchable or broken. Ouch.<br />
<br />
Take care! :D Nakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17191199771217938276noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-951298441175951015.post-61598421748738168742014-07-14T19:59:00.000+02:002014-07-24T16:52:58.823+02:00Captain America - Animation Video!! :DSO!!<br />
<br />
Hello dears, long time no see!<br />
The last weeks were a little hard, bc the examination period is a little earlier here, and it's nearly OVER! :D<span style="font-size: xx-small;"> and then the whole application stuff for an internship starts.... aaahhhhh AND WE WON THE WORLD CUP! YAY! :D </span><br />
<br />
Anyways, we had to make a viral video for one of my courses - no further restraints, except it has to reach about 1000 views in a week - and bc I'm not doing any animation for my film class this semester, I decided to do a flash animation film, YAY! And because I'm a nerd, I made the new Captain America movie the topic of it XD <span style="font-size: x-small;">(you'll find the vid on the bottom of this post! ;) )</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkZTugDTOfe7hyphenhyphenT4DTyp4xOzf2I2nlgyIO9lvJ4PDoihBzoG3byajZqUX56C0xXazcjJOxdzSooK-IHSoneTQgr4eFBTnDQFFSDtTSSSRSkqmwd52n82cTOAAgzkJgBwOv56GLdIs49NfD/s1600/bumbucky_sketch.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkZTugDTOfe7hyphenhyphenT4DTyp4xOzf2I2nlgyIO9lvJ4PDoihBzoG3byajZqUX56C0xXazcjJOxdzSooK-IHSoneTQgr4eFBTnDQFFSDtTSSSRSkqmwd52n82cTOAAgzkJgBwOv56GLdIs49NfD/s1600/bumbucky_sketch.png" height="200" width="136" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
So I started with some simple sketches ....<br />
<-- like this<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYjUgL4AYPB-s0_hoepSGMp6wo9tX5JK5m0LDeEqKlsPSBVBV_xseaukVgrabwfcluWgha5HVAEOZbptD4pYIKq2so5ps-cucpItEXznsPTfY3uz1CAIyYOawJXyXeng9ESK6QxVjB-rAV/s1600/bum_buckycolor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYjUgL4AYPB-s0_hoepSGMp6wo9tX5JK5m0LDeEqKlsPSBVBV_xseaukVgrabwfcluWgha5HVAEOZbptD4pYIKq2so5ps-cucpItEXznsPTfY3uz1CAIyYOawJXyXeng9ESK6QxVjB-rAV/s1600/bum_buckycolor.jpg" height="200" width="112" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: right;">
.....and put some layers of lineart and color on top....</div>
<div style="text-align: right;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: right;">
like that --></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
.....and at the end of the day*, after hours of drawing and trying to get the backgrounds that people would somehow recognize what scene that might be, I had results like this:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUG0bVoXQhAGo1ipIHDuWODIiNRiVxuTjqXTy-WDc6wNctaS-C3OR-JzBVV8Yl2p_D-AbTepn5_Oh6JhkSsRkGTPN-kPBlTnwW7RhCQtx7IaOKoGBrhGV0lWdRjsl9P7e_djqnC13y3UXR/s1600/cap_bucky_cr.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUG0bVoXQhAGo1ipIHDuWODIiNRiVxuTjqXTy-WDc6wNctaS-C3OR-JzBVV8Yl2p_D-AbTepn5_Oh6JhkSsRkGTPN-kPBlTnwW7RhCQtx7IaOKoGBrhGV0lWdRjsl9P7e_djqnC13y3UXR/s1600/cap_bucky_cr.jpg" height="360" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
.... this...</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

....because why not.<br />
<br />
I promised videos, but I still didn't post any. WHY?! Because of some uncertain reasons I cannot link them here, and we don't know for certain why, but since I don't have admin rights for the account they're uploaded on (it's the schools acc) I have to wait till others fix that problem. But it's worked on!<br /><br />So anyways, have some weird experiment pic now. Still trying to get into digital painting. I don't even want to be photorealistic like others, but it's still tricky to make stuff look good. <br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Cool or crap? Let me know! :D<br /><br />See you next week ;)<br />
