Portfolio, Part II

Hey there!

This is the second part of my portfolio, the series "Nähe" (can be translated as"adjacency", "contiguousness", "vicinity" but also "close to", "near" or "around") , for Krefeld - complete this time.

You might know the first one cause I allready uploaded it, but it belongs here for the completeness ;)

Emotional and physical closeness.

Emotional closeness but physical distance.

Physical closeness but emotional distance.

And another kind of a physical and emotional closeness, I think the people in Krefeld liked this one especially.

They're all water color and fine liner :)

Portfolio, Part One :D

Yup, as promised. Pic-heavy!

First stack is a series of my favourite boots, starting with some sketches:

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS!!!! :D

.... because art schools LOVE sketches and rough paintings and stuff. Hell knows why.

And some people might know parts of the finished ones allready cause I made them in ... January or so, and uploaded them somewhere I think :B

Pencil, soft pastels, copics, water colors and of course my new rock boots :D

There might be no post tomorrow cause I'm away all day, but on Thursday I'll be back.

Hardware still sucks

Header says it all. My pc didn't return from reparation, and my scanner still bitches the half time (at last I'm able to scan with one of them now)...

So today's picture is photographed again (but to be fair, it's too big to be (easy) scanned anyway :D). It's a work from my application portfolio for Krefeld (which by the way worked hopefully kind of fine, and next will be nuremberg at the end of the month...), topic was "Nähe", what can be translated with "adjacency", "contiguousness", "vicinity" but also "close to", "near" or "around".

Cheesy, isn't it? 8D

Done as a pencil sketch, than outlined with multiliners and colored with water colors and hair dryer. It's part of a series of 4 works... When I get the chance, I'll scan and upload them alltogether.

42!

Hey out there! :D

It's the unbelieveble 42. blogpost with my pictures! 8D That means I have only 9958 posts 'til 10.000! Should be easy to do. ;)

I love Shar's coat and his haircolor in this pic, and I want that 42-shirt ;D

This time, the outlines are just pencil on copy paper,  scanned and than colored with photoshop. It's all kind of rough, but I think I like that more than a clean, sterile look... and at last this fits the character of this guy better ;)

You might allready know them from the comics or another picture at deviantart, but if you don't, dosent matter XD  (Go and find them!)

I really love these boots, they're shiny, they're comfortable, they're warm and they're yellow! :D
Outlines are made with Multiliners and Colo is made with Copics on marker paper, size A3. That's so far the biggest picture I've ever made with copics....

Aye, and I got more stuff to tell you! The poster from Amphibian Ark is out now! And there's a list of participating institutions by country on their site -> click here and scroll down <- So if you're planning to visit one of that zoos next time, keep your eyes peeled! :D ...and send me a photo ;)
